This is your chance to shine! Write a brief, compelling summary of who you are, your teaching philosophy, and what you bring to the table. Make it personal and passionate – let your enthusiasm for teaching leap off the page! Please do not refer to yourself in third person!
Showcase Your Experience
Detail your teaching experience, highlighting key responsibilities and achievements. Use action verbs and quantify your successes where possible.
Highlight Your Education and CPD
List your qualifications, including your degree, teaching certifications, and any relevant CPD (Continuing Professional Development). This shows your commitment to professional growth and staying current in the field.
Don’t Be Afraid to Add a Bit of Your Personality
Schools are looking for teachers who can connect with students and staff. Include a section on your interests or hobbies that reflect your personality and how you might contribute to the school community. Whether it’s coaching the football team or leading the drama club, let them see the real you!
